Professional Experience

Brita Horvath coordinates all aspects of Baker & Daniels' diversity and pro bono programs. She also develops initiatives and strategies to advance the firm's ongoing commitment in both arenas. Brita works closely with diversity and pro bono chairs and committee members, as well as with practice groups, recruitment and other committees, and the administrative department.

She served as liaison to 25 sections with a cumulative membership of 12,000 lawyers and judges. After earning her law degree, Brita spent almost two years on the Honorable Gary L. Miller's staff in Marion County Superior Court 5. Prior to her graduating from law school, her legal experience also included serving as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Margret G. Robb in the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Honorable Steve David in Boone County Circuit Court.

While in law school, Brita was active in a number of pro bono activities and received the Berlon Pro Bono Award for outstanding pro bono and community service.
