Compliance Guidance

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. In the health care industry, developing and documenting a vibrant compliance program – and receiving operationally savvy legal counsel on the myriad of laws directed at the health care industry – can help avoid investigation or litigation tomorrow. All health care providers – including hospitals, physician practices and home health agencies – should develop and be able to document that they have a vibrant compliance program. Baker & Daniels and B&D Consulting have substantial experience in assisting medical providers to develop and implement compliance programs. Our professionals bring practical "in-house" advice on how to develop, implement and evaluate compliance programs, having been involved in all aspects of compliance development, implementation and review. We also offer a compliance effectiveness review, which is recommended periodically to determine the strengths and weaknesses of a provider's compliance program.
